King Street Shop at 90A King Street, Knutsford, WA16 6ED
The Heritage Centre building includes a retail shop of approx. 30 sq. metres (c. 280 sq. feet), and has identical opening hours to the whole Heritage Centre complex.
Whether you approach our shop from the “top” Princess Street (at the end of Heritage Way), or from the “bottom” King Street (hidden away up a narrow alleyway) you will discover not only our exhibition room and tapestry gallery but also our gift shop. Look out for signs directing you from either street.
The shop stocks a wide variety of gift items and souvenirs, many with a Knutsford theme. There is a wide range of items linked to the Knutsford Millennium Tapestry, including a Tapestry Book which tells the story of this millennium community project. It is full of colour photos and records the names of all the 3,000+ people involved.
We also have a selection of specialist ‘Knutsford’ books, Elizabeth Gaskell books and tea-towels, along with postcards, mugs, fridge magnets, book marks and other items celebrating Cheshire’s rich heritage.
Three more reasons to visit our shop:
1. See our full range of items available for purchase, only a few of which are available through our online shop
2. Chat to our helpful and knowledgeable staff about Knutsford’s rich history
3. Visit our exhibitions and view the unique Knutsford tapestry
