Knutsford is situated in the heart of Cheshire, south of Manchester with easy access to the M6 and the Manchester-Chester train line.

How to find us
Knutsford is located just off the M6; at junction 19. Follow the A556 towards Knutsford. Once in Knutsford, you will find the Heritage Centre between the two main streets of the town and can be accessed from either King Street (next to Age Concern) or Princess Street (between The Red Cow and Martins Newsagents). The Centre is signposted by brown heritage signs from the main roundabout (A50), from the railway station /Adams Hill (A537), and in King Street.


Parking and Access
There are a number of car parks in Knutsford, the closest being Tatton Street car and coach park. A coach drop off point in Canute Place is convenient for the Heritage Centre top entrance. Parking for disabled visitors can be arranged at the rear of the Centre (top entrance). Please call 01565 650506 before your visit.
We have disabled access to the Main Building Gift Shop, and the Tapestry and Exhibition Galleries.
