Knutsford Heritage Centre’s dedicated team of volunteers was thanked for their efforts by the Lord Lieutenant of Cheshire.

David Briggs praised the 30 ‘wonderful’ volunteers at the centre as he presented the centre with The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service 2018. May Day – A Century of Change

We are currently planning a new exhibition to commence on Tuesday 9th April 2019, which will look at how the Knutsford May Day celebrations have changed over the last 100 years. We are delighted to announce “The Lord Eldon” public house in Tatton Street as our Exhibition Sponsor.

Join our ‘Turn Up & Go’ Walking Tours every Friday at 2pm

Will commence again in the Spring of 2019

Every Friday at 2pm, and also on the first Saturday morning of each month at 11:00am, from Friday, 3rd May to the end of September, just turn up at the Heritage Centre, pay £5 and enjoy an hour long guided walk around Knutsford and explore some of the more hidden and unusual attractions.
